Liverpool faces Wolverhampton Wanderers

Liverpool faces Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Anfield in a game from the 11th round of the Premier League.

Liverpool are second in the current standings in the Premier League, but being on par with the leaders Tottenham – both clubs have 21 points won so far. They even have the same results so far – 6 wins, 3 draws and just 1 defeat. At least for now it looks like a pretty good race in the Prem.

Last week Liverpool lost two points. The Reds had a visit to Brighton & Hove Albion at the American Express which ended with a 1-1 draw. It was dissapointing for Liverpool because they were actually ahead until the 93th minute of the game. Diogo Jota opened the score for the visitors, but Brighton & Hove equalised with a very late goal from Pascal Gross in the injury time.

During the week Liverpool had a game in the Champions League as well. Jurgen Klopp’s boys hosted Ajax and achieved a very important 1-0 win at home. Curtis Jones scored the only goal in the game.

Wolverhampton Wanderers approach this game from 7th place in the standings. The Wolves are just one point behind the 4th Leicester City, so you can be sure they will give their all against the champions on Sunday.

Last week Wolves achieved a terrific win in London against Arsenal. Nuno Santo’s team became victorious at the Emirates and went home with the three points. Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence scored for the visitors. Wolves’ biggest problem at the moment is the injury which the striker Raul Jimenez suffered against Arsenal. The Mexican striker got hit in the head and he’s about to miss some games.

That’s our preview for the Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Anfield. It won’t be an easy game for the champions, that’s for sure. They must give their best here.
